William Harvey&#8217;s visitor<\/em> was published in their anthology <em>Off Centre<\/em>, May 2021<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">An extract from <em>The Elder Race<\/em> was published in Issue 35 of the French Literary Review in 2020. <\/span><span style=\"color: black;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The scene is set in Paris, where the main ch<\/span>aracter of my story is introducing her lover to the joys of art and is surprised when he makes a startling discovery.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">my novel <a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.marriages.me.uk\/alwyn\/sale\/the-elder-race\/\"><em>The Elder Race<\/em><\/a> was published by Bellhouse Books in 2020.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">my novel <a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.marriages.me.uk\/alwyn\/sale\/rapeseed\/\"><em>Rapeseed<\/em><\/a> was shortlisted in the Cinnamon Novel Award, 2011. It was published by Stairwell Books in 2017.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">my short story, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cutalongstory.com\/genres\/historical-fiction\/23.html\"><em>William Harvey&#8217;s visitor<\/em><\/a>, was longlisted in the BBC Opening Lines competition, 2014.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Journal articles and reviews<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I have written numerous articles and reviews, generally on theological, philosophical and aesthetic, and environmental issues, for magazines and papers including Resurgence, Surrey Advertiser, Devon Life, Theology, Theological Book Review, Church Times, London Grip &amp;c.
